About Us
Complete Support Care Services Ltd is a supported living service, owned by husband and wife duo, Daniel and Brie Duggan. It is based in Northampton, which is a great town to live in! Daniel and Brie have lots of experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
Daniel
Daniel has worked in this field since 2000. He has been a support worker, team leader, manager, registered manager and a director.... PHEW! So, he knows a lot about supporting people to become more independent and live their best life.
Brie
Brie has worked in the health and social care sector since 2004. She has worked in human resources and recruitment during this time and in the last 8 years, has done a lot of work in compliance. Which means she really understands what company's like ours are meant to be doing to make customers like you happy and safe!
Daniel and Brie have worked together for the last 8 years for another supported living service and they found that they work together very well indeed. Their different experiences means that they fill in each others gaps. After working well together for so many years, they began to have ideas about what kind of service they would like to run. And so last year, they decided that they were going to see if they could run the service they were dreaming of - all on their own!
They worked hard to research what was involved in starting a supported living service - it was not easy! The Care Quality Commission wanted to see lots of information to prove that Daniel and Brie could do a good job supporting people with learning disabilities.
In November 2018, someone from the Care Quality Commission came to visit Daniel and Brie in their new office in Moulton Village, Northampton. They talked for a long time about Daniel and Brie's ideas and looked through all the systems they had put in to place to make sure that this service was going to be a very good one for our customers.
The Care Quality Commission liked Daniel and Brie's ideas and systems so much that they decided to register Complete Support Care Services Ltd as a supported living provider on the 6th December 2018!
A year later, in December 2019, CQC came out to conduct their first proper inspection. They were very thorough...... They checked all the ways in which we keep track of running a high quality supported living service. We were told that as a new and small provider, they might not be able to see enough evidence for us to get a rating at all..... Which would mean we would have to wait another year to be inspected again to gain a rating. But they did find LOTS of evidence to show them that we are a GOOD provider and gave us a rating of GOOD! We were over the moon!!! As were our customers and team.
